Physiotherapist

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team. 

Job Description:

-Provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services.

-You will be making day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge and follow-up.

-Maintaining a complete Physiotherapy record for each client in accordance with the company procedures.

-You will ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics and AHS policy and guidelines.

-Ensure ethical practices ie, respecting privacy, culture, individuality and autonomy of the client

– You will make decisions on staffing level requirements, workflow, caseload priorities in collaboration with managers and other healthcare providers.

Qualification: Completion of master’s degree in Physiotherapy or bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.

Minimum of 10 years experience required.

Working hours – Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 4:30 pm).

Psychologist Assistant

Job Description:

-Administer and score the report, conduct psychological screening and other tests using standardized administration procedures, and objective scoring procedures in a community setting.

-Provide verbal and/or written descriptions of the client’s behaviour during testing by observing client’s behaviour.

-Administer specialized assessment measures to assist with assessing risk and treatment needs of an individual. 

-Prepare and maintain a variety of records, reports, and charts.

-Conduct and participate in training.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Psychology.

Minimum 1 year experience required.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Physiotherapist Assistant

Seeking a passionate Physiotherapist Assistant to join our dedicated team. 

Job Description:

-Under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, carry out treatment programs such as thermotherapy, traction, hydrotherapy and electrotherapeutic techniques to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities to maximize their ability to independently manage daily activities.

-Collect and analyse information from clients’ file upon referral from the physiotherapist or physician

-Develop, implement and monitor treatment plans of clients in collaboration with the physiotherapist or physician

-Use a variety of therapeutic modalities such as manual techniques (e.g. massage), exercises, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and thermotherapy (ice or heat) to achieve treatment objectives

-Advise clients on postures, lifestyle and exercises to help them improve their physical condition

Qualification: Completion of master’s degree in Physiotherapy or bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.

Minimum of 10 years experience required.
